Claire is an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator working with the PET Core team in the Rabinovici Lab. She was born and raised in the Bay Area and graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Claire was previously an undergraduate research assistant in the High-Level Perception Lab and Samaha Lab at UC Santa Cruz, where she worked on projects studying music cognition and the neural basis of confidence in decision-making.

Through working in the MAC, Claire found an interest in learning about the genetics of neurodegenerative disease and the psychosocial dynamics that families at risk experience. Two years after joining the RabLab, she began a master’s program in genetic counseling at UCSF. Throughout her time in this program, she continues to assist the lab through a federal work-study position, focusing mainly on data management and fulfilling data requests from collaborators.
