With deep sadness, we share the passing of Jhony Alejandro Mejía Pérez on November 11, 2024.
Jhony was a talented and dedicated Neuroimaging Data Analyst in our group. He joined our team in the summer of 2022 and worked on multiple projects, including the processing of IDEAS data and the coordination of PET processing for our collaboration with Boston University on chronic traumatic encephalopathy.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jhony was a vibrant spirit. A proud Colombian, he carried his culture everywhere. He was a passionate football fan, a salsa-dancing enthusiast, and someone who brought joy everywhere he went. Our thoughts are with his family and all who knew him. He will be missed but never forgotten.
